Advising Course Plan - Chemistry Major 3-Year Plan
This advising plan shows an example of working through the requirements for the major in three years. It is appropriate for students who have already completed eight units of coursework. The student’s individual academic plan will be developed in consultation with an adviser and reviewed each semester prior to registering for the next semester. This plan assumes that the student has completed four units of appropriate general education courses, two units of general chemistry (with lab), and two units of calculus w/analytical geometry prior to the first semester shown in the plan.

Either PHYS 121P and PHYS 122P or PHYS 141P and PHYS 142P are acceptable.

MATH 142Q and either PHYS 142P or PHYS 122P are prerequisites for this course.

Students must have completed CHEM 201, CHEM 202, CHEM 203, and CHEM 205 and be currently enrolled in CHEM 204 to enroll in CHEM 498.

Students must take TWO in-depth chemistry electives chosen from CHEM 302, CHEM 303, CHEM 304, CHEM 305, CHEM 306, CHEM 307, CHEM 308, or CHEM 309.
