Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC)
Leadership & Excellence
Today, as in the past, many bright, young, ambitious students desire to be leaders. Are you one of them?
Reserve Officer Training Corps: Stetson University offers Air Force and Army. ROTC is a four-year college elective program that trains students to become officers. Our partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University ROTC programs offer students a chance to develop skills for success needed in both the military and civilian worlds, such as confidence to lead, motivation, strategic planning, and the ability to make decisions. All requirements are held at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Daytona Beach campus, 25 minutes from Stetson's DeLand campus.
The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is an educational program designed to give men and women the opportunity to become Air Force officers while completing their degrees. The program is designed to prepare you to assume positions of increasing responsibility and importance in the modern Air Force.
Founded in 1916, Army ROTC (AROTC) produces 75 percent of all Army officers and has produced more than half a million lieutenants for the U.S. Army. It remains the broadest avenue for men and women seeking to serve as officers in the Army. An Army officer is a prestigious professional who serves as a leader of the most respected institution in America.
