Academic Advising Note:
- POLI 100 is the entry course for the major and the prerequisite for 200-level POLI courses.  Please do not place POLI Majors in POLI 101S.  Majors will not receive credit toward the major.
- Students who will not fit into POLI 100 should be put into another 100-level POLI course (except for POLI 101S, which is designed for non-majors).

1

May take POLI 201  in spring of the first year if earned a final grade of B+ or higher in POLI 100 in the fall of the first year.

2

Or any 200+ level course in the field of American politics (or Comparative politics, if POLI 201 taken in the first year).

3

Includes POLI 397.

4

Two-thirds of Political Science majors should take POLI 499 in fall of the fourth year.
